Clinical Supervisor

The clinical supervisor will play a major role in providing on-job training and technical support for health providers at MOHP supported Primary health care Units (PHCUs) to ensure that they are following MoHP updated clinical guidelines and are delivering quality medical services for refugees and host communities.  In addition, he/she will be co-facilitating some training sessions for health service providers and will be responsible for supportive supervision over these PHCUs. He/ She will be responsible for implementing health awareness activity in coordination with the project field team.
She/he will have significant responsibility for delivery of timely results and for coordination with governmental, partner and community stakeholders to ensure a coherent project model is established on the ground.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor degree in medicine or related medical fields. Clinical Master degree or fellowship is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience in family medicine working at MoHP Family medicine units/ centers.
  • Previous experience in health promotion and raising awareness with similar projects and initiatives.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Experience with refugee/marginalized communities desired.
  • Commitment to Save the Children’s values and Child Safeguarding.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work-ethic.
  • Clinical experience in gynecology / obstetrics, internal medicine, pediatrics.
